Caythorpe Court

Year 4 residential trip

Last week Year 4 children went away on a residential educational visit to Caythorpe Court in Grantham, Lincolnshire. They had an amazing learning experience which included physical and team building challenges. They shared their new learning and campfire songs with the children in celebration assembly on Wednesday. The adults who escorted the children and the staff at Caythorpe were very complimentary regarding the children's outstanding behaviour and values during the visit.
This is what the children said:
'The evening activities were brilliant!' Emma
'My favourite part was getting to the top of the climbing wall.' April
'I enjoyed singing the songs at the campfire.' Allana
'The best part for me was the giant swing.' Cyan
'I enjoyed the campfire at night.' Lauren
'I loved absolutely everything about Caythorpe.' Leilani
'My favourite part was all the lovely food.' Paddy
'I liked the game All Around the World which we played outside.' Jessie
'The giant swing was so high!' Gabby
'I really enjoyed staying in a dormitory with my friends.' Joshua
'The best part was the giant swing.' Lewis
'The best part for me was the quad bikes.' Finley
'I enjoyed the giant swing because it made my tummy feel weird.' Libby
Thank you to Mrs Puddiphatt, Mrs Halligan and Mrs Shelvey for escorting the children on this visit.
